What is easy will not be worth it

I am still learning this and get caught up in something that I feel will give me a big reward for little work, it simply isn't true. What is easy will not be worth it because if it is easy, then the barrier to entry is low, meaning competition is high; everybody is trying to get in on it. I still get caught up in the loop sometimes, when I see somebody on Instagram or other socials living it up and telling you it's easy.

1Work on something that is hard, and you will reap the rewards of that hard work you put in. You will also feel this sense of accomplishment that is rather difficult to achieve from completing an easy project. I have the habit of picking something up and dropping it after I get bored or that initial spark passed, which I call the dip. If you surpass the dip and push through you will be past the toughest part, past the part that is the reason most people give up and fail. I am no stranger to this, I have given up plenty of things, some by choice other by necessity. Every day I try to remind myself of what I value and what is important to me and dedicate my valuable time and energy to make that grow. Do I expect results as soon as tomorrow? No, I am patient with the gains at the gym, with my flexibility, and many other facets of my life.

Much Love,
Michael

Energy & Time: Your Most Valuable Resources

A lot of people believe and see money as the most valuable resource do to the physical buying power that it has. Its a simple function of most of us working for a living and earning a wage, then equating that wage to the amount of time we work.      I have recently tried to change my way of thinking from the traditional way of seeing the most valuable resource. After all, this is an opinion piece and how I am trying to see what I value in life, and like everything, it may change. Our energy is so finite since we can only do so much in a day. Energy should be something you dedicate to what you want to move forward. If we don't assign energy and time, then it's not something we truly value.     Time is truly the most precious resource because it's finite. We all get 24 hours, and what we chose to do with that is compelty up to us. Do we want to spend our time wathcing tv and playing video games or developing ideas and helping solve problems in the wo...

Howard Schultz, CEO of Starbucks Steps Down!

As an avid investor and follower of the market news, I have recently read and heard a lot of talk about Howard Schultz, CEO of Starbucks. Announced this Monday that he will be stepping down from his 25+ years with Starbucks. The twist is, there is talk of him becoming president. If you asked me before last year if a businessman that had never had a political career could become a president out of nowhere I said: "Of course not!" That just seemed absurd at the time, but after November the reality set in, anybody can be president. Howard Schultz a known supporter of the democratic party and big campaign contributor to the Hilary campaign might be running in 2020, this comes as a shock. We will see as this develops and how it will affect Starbucks as a company will they be able to maintain the growth without their now ex-CEO?
