As an avid investor and follower of the market news, I have recently read and heard a lot of talk about Howard Schultz, CEO of Starbucks. Announced this Monday that he will be stepping down from his 25+ years with Starbucks. The twist is, there is talk of him becoming president. If you asked me before last year if a businessman that had never had a political career could become a president out of nowhere I said: "Of course not!" That just seemed absurd at the time, but after November the reality set in, anybody can be president. Howard Schultz a known supporter of the democratic party and big campaign contributor to the Hilary campaign might be running in 2020, this comes as a shock. We will see as this develops and how it will affect Starbucks as a company will they be able to maintain the growth without their now ex-CEO?     A lot of people believe and see money as the most valuable resource do to the physical buying power that it has. Its a simple function of most of us working for a living and earning a wage, then equating that wage to the amount of time we work.      I have recently tried to change my way of thinking from the traditional way of seeing the most valuable resource. After all, this is an opinion piece and how I am trying to see what I value in life, and like everything, it may change. Our energy is so finite since we can only do so much in a day. Energy should be something you dedicate to what you want to move forward. If we don't assign energy and time, then it's not something we truly value.     Time is truly the most precious resource because it's finite.
